Since I couldn't afford the Hot Toys versions I was pretty eagerly anticipating the Legends movie Deadpool figure, as he probably represents my favorite page-to-screen translation of any superhero costume, but while the figure is indeed beautifully sculpted, he seems quite cheap in-hand, looking and feeling like he was cast in a much lower-grade, flimsier plastic than other recent figures (like his on-screen antagonist, Cable), and his articulation is somewhat nonsensical in places. Domino, really dig the face sculpt and the translucent hair was a nice touch. He comes with additional pistols, swords and yes, a Unicorn. His real world guns in holsters are glued in, but technically can come out if you wanted to put some work in. Eyes pop just like the movie, articulation range is solid. The sculpt is really sharp head to toe, it captures the lines of the movie suit. I had some issues with a factory defect but was able to get it functional with some surgery. Domino I thought was well done in the movie, and well done as a figure here, even tho it’s not a pure comic representation – so she gets to hang with Wade on the shelf.Īll in all Deadpool delivers. Negasonic for me is a tubber, not speaking on the figure’s quality at all, just don’t care for the character. I’m picky with my Marvel collection, but Movie Deadpool was high on my list of wanted figures from any line. Movie Cable fills out this line up and is out but is not featured here. Deadpool comes in a 2 pack with Negasonic, and Domino is a solo release. Time for a quick drop for a set of recently released figures from Marvel Legends – Fox X-Men Universe Movie Deadpool, Domino and Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
